Finn Walsh is a space maker. Their work explores the domestic through both craft and fine art, but primarily through a combination of the two. They are deeply influenced by the seafaring and woodworking craft traditions of Midcoast Maine, where they grew up and have recently returned.
Finn infuses contemporary art practice into the rich craft traditions of rural Maine. Their interests span food, carpentry, furniture design, interior design, metal working, ceramics, and fiber arts, as well as the fine arts of photography, videography, and painting.
